Reforestation

We plant a tree for every 18 months of service in each contract

Planting trees strategically helps capture carbon dioxide, improve air quality, prevent soil erosion, and regulate the water cycle.

In the last 20 years, the loss of forest mass around the world has seriously affected the environment, altering the climate, biodiversity and soil protection.

Reforestation is not just about planting trees, but about restoring ecosystems in a smart and sustainable way. Good planning ensures benefits for the climate, biodiversity and local communities.

At RESPIRA, we are committed to reforestation projects with scientific and ecological criteria, ensuring that the species planted are autochthonous, resilient and beneficial to ecosystems. By integrating it into our business model, we collaborate with environmental organizations to offset the ecological footprint.

With your support,
We will continue to regenerate forests.

  • Ceutí - Lorquí

    2.200

Realization of a riverside forest plantation in Ceutí, next to the Ceutí-Lorquí bridge, aimed at the environmental improvement of the Segura river. The activity is organized by the Association of Naturalists of the Southeast (ANSE), within the framework of the projects “River Stewardship” and “Banks of the Segura”. It has the collaboration of the City Council of Ceutí, the Group of Civil Protection Volunteers of Ceutí, the Segura Hydrographic Confederation, LIFESEGURARIVERLINK, Conserves Martínez García and Magatzems Coalimar de Ceutí, GESTIONA & RESPIRA, and the Alábega Association of Ceutí.

  • El Bruc

    13.382

Planting of 382 trees of different varieties, mainly almond and olive trees, and 13,000 Nendo Dango balls made by the JAMBORINADA.CAT. Nendo Dango balls were invented by Japanese farmer, biologist and philosopher Masanobu Fukuoka (1913 – 2008).
Made up of various types of seeds wrapped in clay, they are a system designed to promote reforestation and combat desertification in areas where, for various reasons, the soil degrades and are made with an optimal creation process so that they can germinate successfully. The 13,000 Nendo Dango balls collected during the central event of the Jamborinada were used to collaborate with the project “Impulsa un brot groc”, created by the ADF of El Bruc and the residents of El Bruc. The objective is to help the reforestation of three types of herbaceous plants in order to prevent erosion of the land affected by the fire in Òdena in the summer of 2015.
