How is the energy purchase price calculated?

OMIE cost:
This is what the producer charges for the electricity generated. This cost varies every hour and is determined through the daily auction held at www.omie.es.

Transport network costs (> 110kV):
These costs are managed by REE (Red Eléctrica de España) and are values
semi-regulated.

Distribution network costs (< 110kV):
They are managed by the Distributor in accordance with current regulations. The values can
be consulted at this link.
How is the calculated
selling price of
energy?
The selling price of electricity, whether from self-consumption surplus or from the production of a power plant, is determined by the OMIE daily market . This price varies every hour, as it is set through a daily auction held at www.omie.es.
