Electric power producers

At RESPIRA, we offer renewable electricity producers complete management of the sale and collection of the electricity generated.

We have advanced technology for all types of special regime producers and, for large producers, we offer integration via web services for efficient management of energy and economic information.
We also support producers who generate electricity as a by-product of a thermal process essential to their activity, even if they use fossil fuels.

Remuneration rates

Below, you will find the remuneration rates according to IET Order 1045/2014, in application of Royal Decree 413/2014. These rates apply exclusively to producers correctly registered in the Specific Remuneration Regime Registry and with an assigned installation type code (IT).

To correctly understand the rate tables, the following concepts must be taken into account:

Return on investment (€ / MWh · year)

Fixed annual amount that each producer receives as a return on investment, regardless of the production carried out. The tables show the values for a power plant of 1 MWh. To calculate the exact amount for each power plant, a rule of three must be applied depending on its power.

Remuneration per operation (€ / MWh)

Variable amount depending on monthly production. It is calculated by multiplying the energy generated in month “n” (in MWh) by the value of the remuneration per operation (€/MWh) indicated in the tables. This remuneration is subject to a maximum hour limit; it will only be charged up to the maximum established in the tables.

Income reduction by Coefficient D (value between 0 and 1)

The sum of the investment and operation remuneration is multiplied by the D Coefficient, which ensures that each installation produces a minimum of equivalent operating hours. Under normal conditions, without serious maintenance problems, this coefficient should be greater than 1, but is limited to 1 to avoid income penalties.

The formula for calculating the D Coefficient is as follows:

Operating Threshold (Uf)

Regulated value in the tables below for each IT (typical installation).

Number of Equivalent Hours completed (Nhinst)

Number of equivalent hours that the installation has performed during the period.

Minimum Number of Equivalent Hours (Nhmin)

Minimum number of equivalent hours to be completed, also regulated for each IT in the tables below.

Quarterly Coefficient
(TrimCoef)

Coefficient that is multiplied by the values of the Operating Threshold and the Number of Equivalent Hours to calculate the Coefficient D in each quarter of the year.

Penalty for
Reactive (€ / MWh)

Penalty that will be received for each MWh of penalized production, according to the cosine φ obtained. The penalty thresholds are:
Cosine (φ)< 0.98: Penalty of 3% of the active energy produced, at a rate of €86.998/MWh.

Right to charge for
Baldita

The producer has the right to receive compensation based on hourly production in MWh, multiplied by the hourly price of the OMIE wholesale electricity market.
